Summer is here! Which can only mean a couple of things. My pale ass will of course get sunburned a billion times, the humidity in New York City will give everyone swamp ass and most importantly... BIG BROTHER IS BACK BABY! Yes, our summertime guilty pleasure that CBS brings to us each year is back next week with 14 new houseguests vying for the elusive prize of last one standing and $500,000. With the first twist announced just hours ago and the amazing news that they will feature their first trans woman to compete on Big Brother, Audrey, this season is guaranteed to be a great one and the continuation of one of the best (if not the best) reality show franchises in television history.
So what would happen if you take yourself off your couch where you usually watch it, and watch the premiere with some of the biggest houseguests that BB has ever seen? Well for all the Manhattanites out there, we have you covered. Because starting next Wednesday, in conjunction with the Big Brother premiere, the Big Brother Group will be hosting some incredible viewing parties with your favorite houseguests to mingle wish, dish on some BB secrets, and have a blast each night.
But first... who are these mysterious houseguests that you will be partaytaying with? Here is the incredible list. Rachel Reilly and Brendan Villegas (Brenchel) from BB12 and BB13 as well as Rachel's sister and BB15 superstar Elissa Slater. Season 16 winner and runner up Derrick Levasseur and Cody Calafiore will also be on hand, as well as the most entertaining houseguest of last season- ZACH RANCE! The event will also see the Providence Princess Michelle Costa from Season 10 to hang with as well as Season 13 alums Adam Poch and Lawon Exum. We aint done yet! Also on deck will be Staten Island's very own (and final two of Big Brother 15) GinaMarie Zimmerman and chef Joe Arvin and rocker JennCity from BB14. Rounding out the bunch we have Captain Kosher from BB12 himself Andrew Gordon, Alex Coladonato from BB9 and the beautiful Carol Journey from BB8. WOWZERS!!!
So let's give a rundown of each night. On top of watching the two night premiere, on Wednesday and Thursday the event will be taking place at Wicked Wolf Tavern in Hoboken, New Jersey from 6-10 PM where you will find a red carpet event on one night (Wednesday) and an amazing game of beer pong on the other night (Thursday). Both of these days are 21 and over. The Friday event, however, is open to all ages from 6-10 PM at the Culinary Conference Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. The latter seems the most fun for all the family and friends who worship the ground that this show has appeared in our lives on... plus a yummy buffet on top of all of it!
