Sequels sometimes can be a good thing, except if its Legally Blonde 2.  Save yourself time and NEVER SEE THAT MOVIE!  On the other hand, when you have a concept that is so uniquely delicious, you have to see if it will work a second time around and that is what you get with the amazing Bröd Kitchen, who just opened up its doors on W. 4th Street on top of their fantastic original location on 2nd Avenue in the Upper East Side.

So what is Bröd Kitchen exactly and what are they all about?  Per their site- "Bröd means "bread" in Swedish, which is where our journey began.  Inspired by the culinary traditions of the Nordic countries, we believe in "ingredients first." These countries, including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden are committed to the used of premium ingredients that emphasize simplicity and sustainability in every dish. Following these principles of Nordic cuisine, we believe that we can improve the culinary live of our neighborhood without compromising on taste or health."

Something I really took to with the original location, which now resonates with me at the W. 4th one, is how fresh and tasty everything is that they make.   This type of a place makes you want to forget about the Panera-Au Bon Pain types and bring your focus to food that is simply made with authentic and incredible flavors for anyone to enjoy.  The new location is spacious in size, considerably bigger than the original, and just screams clean when you walk in.  The location itself is especially convenient as it is right in the heart of the NYU neighborhood, and will be absolutely fantastic in the spring and summertime to grab some delicious food on the go and hang outside with friends and family.

I was lucky enough last week to try out some of what Bröd Kitchen has to offer and let me say I was beyond satisfied upon completion of the meal.  And they have so much to offer!  From pizzas to salads, bagels to burgers, there is something for everyone.  Take a look at what I think you should try the next time you are in-

Flour for the dough is imported from Italy, not only giving you that authentic Italian taste but it's also easier for your body to break down.
