One of the most anticipated weeks in fashion has finally arrived, as New York Fashion Week has begun in the Big Apple.  Some of the biggest names in fashion have come out to debut their fall lines in hopes that it will appeal to the masses and either make them the next big thing or keep their massive careers on the up on up.  Someone who is part of the latter of those two categories is famed fashion designer Nicole Miller, who debuted her fall fashion line last night at the Skylight Clarkson Square.

For those unfamiliar with Nicole Miller, here is a bit more about her from The NYFW site- Known for her signature graphic prints and innovative silhouettes, Nicole Miller is an iconic American designer with a modern, ageless aesthetic. With a degree in fine arts from The Rhode Island School of Design and a degree from l'Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne in Paris, Nicole Miller combines her art training with couture technique. This, along with her French heritage, has given her a unique style and vision.

Last night, Nicole went for a Nordic theme for her collection and used colorful beading and embroidery, tassel prints and tons of ruffles which was met with delight from the audience attending this fabulous show.  Speaking of audience, there were some pretty massive names in the crowd last night to show their support for Nicole.  This includes Orange is the New Black’s Jackie Cruz & Alysia Reiner, Nigel Barker, Cindy Bruna, Emily Tyra, Mimi Elashiry, ZZ Ward, Zella Day, Nashville’s Lennon & Maisy Stella, and more.  Following the runway show, everyone headed over to the after party for dinner and drinks at Acme.
