What happens when you combine celebrity chefs, delicious food, and scintillating conversation? You get the new dinner series launching at Foragers Market in Chelsea! Starting on March 28th at 6:30, the educational dinner series will feature a celebrity chef discussing a wide range of topics, a three course meal prepared by Forager's very own Nickolas Martinez, and a fantastic Q&A during the dessert portion. Sounds pretty great right?
The first Dinner Series will feature PBS' very own Chef Vivian Howard, who stars on "A Chef's Life". During that night, one of the dishes that Chef Nickolas will prepare is her specialty called "The Hoppin John", as well as fried catfish and a delicious southern sweet potato cheesecake. The topic of conversation that Vivian will bring to the table will be about Southern dishes on American cuisine.
Each diner will also receive a complimentary custom tote filled with treats from Foragers Market. Tickets cost $130 per person and reservations are required. The May 3rd event will feature New York times best-selling author Barry Estabrook. Sounds like an absolutely awesome time. Please find more information on the official events page.
