There is never anything wrong with taking a classic and revitalizing it to bring in a whole new generation of people who will love it for years to come.  That can truthfully be said about New York institution Frankie & Johnnie's Steakhouse, who recently relocated their iconic location to the theater district on 46th Street between Shubert & 8th Avenue.  I was lucky enough to dine there a couple of weeks back and experience all the deliciousness that they have to offer, and suffice to say, I was not let down by any of it.

The location itself is magnificent and majestic in its size, and reeks in the best way of what a steakhouse is supposed to look like in its execution and delivery.  The wooden floors and bars all reflect its rich history since its opening nearly a century ago, with photos of famous people who have come through over the years adorned throughout.  It really is a beautiful place overall to visit and is perfect for an intimate dinner for two or a big party with you and your friends.

The food speaks for itself.  I mean, look at the photo above.  When it comes to steak, they have you covered.  Everything from USDA Prime Dry Aged Cuts like Sirloin, Rib Eye, T-Bone or Porterhouse will leave you satisfied and full in the best way possible.  They also have a great line of Pork Chops, Grilled Breast of Chicken, Chopped Steak, and Double Loin Lamb Shop for the Dry Aged Cuts-alternatives.

They also have a great line of sides for you to devour with your heart entrée, including Fresh Spinach, Broiled Mushrooms, Fresh Broccoli and Asparagus and an amazing line of Potatoes that you can have prepared as hash browned, French fried, garlic mashed and then some.  Add some pretty tasty salads and appetizers including delicious jumbo shrimp and Little Neck Clams, and you are guaranteed to have a good night.
