Summer is just around the corner, and that means beaches, surfing, food and fun.  So what better way than to kick off the season with the re-opening of a rad and awesome place?  Surf City, Jersey City's megabar and restaurant complete with a gorgeous outdoor waterfront beach oasis kicks off its 2016 season on Friday, May 13th.

This season Surf City is primed to be the ultimate summer hotspot and escape from New York City offering guests a menu of delicious land and sea selections, magnificent views of Manhattan and Liberty Island, indoor and al fresco waterfront dining and drinking, and a sandy beach with fire pits perfect for getting cozy with your summer love!

Executive Chef Franco Robazetti's menu features new selections including Seafood Paella for Two, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Grilled Mayan Shrimp and Snow Crab Legs. Don't worry menu favorites including the Lobster Rolls prepared two ways will also be available as well as a variety of burgers. For seafood fanatics it's a must to check out the fully stocked raw bar with jumbo shrimp, clams on the half shell and crab claws!

Apart from the delectable food, Surf City has an unparalleled selection of playful frozen drinks including the Mango Tango (layered Mango and Strawberry Daiquiri), the Lava Flow, (Pina Colada with strawberry puree and rum) and the Miami Vice, (layered Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri). The megabar will also offer a full bar and over 25 craft beers, which will rotate throughout the season.

At Surf City parking is always free and can be easily reached by the Light Rail, PATH Train or boat. Surf City will be open seven days a week starting on Thursday, May 26th. It's located at 1 Marin Boulevard and you can learn more at www.surfcitybar.com.
