Now that grilling season is in full effect, many Manhattanites will be heading to any kind of barbecue, party or whatnot to enjoy the best of the best in steaks, chicken, and my personal favorite... burgers!  So why not stop by some really awesome restaurants that can give you that grill and chill feeling just as much as the next party you are going to?

We have found two locations that really are bringing the flavor and punch to the classic burger with a modern take on how we are devouring it.  Great menu options that you should try the next time you are in their hoods!  Take a look.

Avra Estiatorio- 141 East 48th Street

Avra Estiatorio’s lite Aegean fare boasts some of the best burgers in Midtown East. The Maryland Crab Cake Burger ($24.95) is perfect for those wanting to feel like they’re dining seaside, while the charcoal-grilled Sirloin Beef Burger ($18.50) with Roquefort cheese is a favorite among regulars. Both burgers come with an abundance of Greek oregano fries that cannot be missed.  Official site.

Invite Only- 63 Gansevoort Street

At the new Meatpacking hotspot, Invite Only, Executive Chef Jordan Andino prepares a Mash Burger ($18) that will crush the competition. The caramelized onion burger, meaning caramelized onions in the burger, is drizzled with a house made jalapeno queso. The burger also has pickled vegetables creating a crunchy barrier between meat and the toasted brioche bun.  Official site.
