Just like Matt LeBlanc's character Joey on "Friends", sandwiches are also my favorite food to have.  Any type, no bias towards anything.  Sandwiches are quite frankly one of the most versatile types of foods you can have, they are like the Jennifer Lopez of food options available.  So what happens when you take the concept of building a sandwich and turn it into the next big delivery service in New York City?  The answer is Barney Brown.

Just launched, Barney Brown, a tech-based sandwich delivery service that specializes in sandwich customization, will be available in select parts of Manhattan. You can create any sandwich you desire and have it delivered right to your hands. Orders can be placed on the website or if you are on-the-go, you can use the app, whatever is more convenient for you.  Barney Brown, created by Baked by Melissa Co-Founder Matt Baer, is available everyday from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and delivers between 14th street and 42nd street and between the FDR and the West Side Highway in Manhattan.

There are so many aspects that make Barney Brown so incredibly awesome.  Have a favorite sandwich you’ve created? One of the special features of the Barney Brown app is the 2-tap reordering. Save your creation to your menu, and the next time you want a Barney Brown sandwich (probably the next day), just head to the app and your lunch is reordered in just two taps of your thumb.

What is also really special about the Barney Brown app, is the new phenomena called “Social Sandwiching” which is going to be the next biggest trend in food since the boozy brunch, trust us. With this feature, it becomes easier to discover different sandwich combinations that you would have never initially thought of. They feature a user-generated gallery of the best sandwich creations which can be filtered by likes or by ingredients. With Barney Brown, you never have to have the same sandwich twice, unless you want to of course.

Most of the ingredients chosen by the Barney Brown team are locally sourced and were taste tested in order to ensure the highest quality sandwiching experience for customers. The bread used to build the sandwiches is also delivered fresh each and every day.

This is definitely something you should try if you are Manhattan local!  For more information, check out their official site.
