National Tequila Day is shortly upon us, as thousands of New Yorkers will be celebrating the deliciously tasty day on Sunday, July 24th.  Many locations will be finding their own way to make the day special, and one in particular is a staple that several Manhattanites have come to know and love- Blockheads! They have a ton of great things planned, including some tasty and fresh new items to try!

In honor of National Tequila Day, this Sunday the 24th, Blockheads NYC has created three new tequila-infused dishes to honor the holiday!  Blockheads, a NYC Mexican staple for over 20 years, was also inspired by the soul food trend in NYC, adding a soul food flare to the tequila-inspired dishes.  Below are details on the new chicken & waffle tacos, drunken collards quesadilla and the tequila-braised brisket tacos.  In addition to these, National Tequila Day, all Blockheads locations will feature a new communal fish bowl the “twisted fish-bowl” meant for sharing, for just $18 at all locations!  How awesome is that!

Head to Blockheads NYC this Sunday for some awesome food, drinks, company and more!  For more information on Blockheads, check out their official site.
