When you live in a concrete jungle like New York City, it can be hard to find the epic beauty that lies outside of the tall buildings, bold and brazen architecture, and hardened streets that leave not as much color to the imagination.  Luckily, one thing that Manhattan has going for it is their amazing parks, which allows us to escape the everyday norm of NYC and enter a plush world of green beauty, playgrounds, and pure excitement, especially in the summer time.

So which ones are our favorites?  Each of these parks are great to take your blankets or dry bags, relax and have a good time at. Take a look at our top five favorite parks, and head there this weekend for some awesome fun in the sun before the weather starts getting cold again.
