Tocqueville's Chef Julien Wargnies puts a modern twist on a traditional holiday with the perfect prix-fixe dinner menu in honor of Rosh Hashanah on Sunday, October 2nd and Monday, October 3rd. The meal starts off with traditional homemade Challah bread served alongside an assortment of Greenmarket apples and honey. Diners can then choose from a unique assortment of three delectable appetizers, including our popular Cato Cheddar Farm Salad served with shaved fennel, spring lettuce, roasted migliorelli base pear and hazelnut dressing. Entrée offerings include Roasted Crusted Scottish Loch Etive Sea Trout with fennel confit, artichoke Barigoule and Meyer lemon broth, Violet Hill Farm Country Chicken Breast and Foie Gras with macaire potatoes, royal Trumpet mushrooms and artichokes, or Pan-Seared Filet Mignon with sriracha marinade, eggplant cake and sauce. Celebrate Rosh Hashanah with a Borscht Brisket Burrito from Tres Carnes
Tres Carnes will feature a Borscht Brisket Burrito from October 2nd through the 5th in honor of Rosh Hashanah. This Mexican / Eastern European mashup conceptualized by Tres Carnes Executive Chef Sasha Shor is made with slow cooked brisket, yellow rice, sweet and sour salsa, beet, pico and cabbage carrot slaw, sour creme and dill. The fast casual Texican eatery is located at 688 Sixth Avenue in Flatiron.
