Navigating Manhattan can be extremely stressful, especially during the holiday times!  Times Square, Union Square and more can be such a hassle to get through, that utilizing any sort of technology to help you along your path can be very beneficial.  Luckily, we have found five great apps that will help you with all your navigating needs this holiday season!

Take a look at the apps we think will make navigating Manhattan a ton easier now that we are in the full swing of the holiday season!

Picking Hotel and Restaurant Locations- NYC has a plethora of hotels and restaurants to choose from! It is important to find a local establishment that is in the vicinity of where you would like to be. Don’t splurge for the Times Square hotel, but try something a few streets down. Do not fret, this is NYC! Shopping and restaurants are on every block. To help pick a good restaurant or hotel, check out the app, Get Been which reviews local establishments your friends and family have been to, giving you a trusted, reliable opinion.

Make Reservations ASAP- Once you find a quaint hotel and restaurant to dine at, make reservations ASAP! Things can book up quickly this time of year and you don’t want to miss out. A helpful tool is Nowait, an app that lets you see current wait times for nearby places to eat!

Plan out your days- Visitors always underestimate the size of NYC. While it can be tough to plan out your day, try to create an itinerary. Grouping activities together including shopping, shows, sightseeing etc. that are near each other or walking distance can help cut down unexpected delays (subway, crowds, etc.) Download Moovit, the free transit directions app, which helps any visitor navigate the intimidating subway system. The app gives directions, live delays and comments.
