The Museum of The American Revolution will soon add to the old world charm that the city of brotherly love offers. Set to open April 19, 2017, families and history enthusiast will flock to the grand opening to witness how the creation of American democracy came to life. The museum will combine plenty of authentic artifacts, enticing galleries and modernized experiences that are meant to take patrons through a chronological journey.
What better way to introduce the possibilities of this museum to the New York City audience than with a luncheon put together by the Philadelphia travel board. At the luncheon, patrons watched a video on what history means to the current city of Philadelphia while also listening to Visit Philadelphia board members speak about the opening.
The best part about all of that was the colonial cocktail that was being passed around. Yes, I said colonial cocktail which means it was an actual drink concoction that was said to be a famous drink during the Revolution that was meant to "sneak up" on you!
