Profundo Pool Club

Profundo Pool Club, located on the third floor at Ravel Hotel in Queens, is a fish out of pond experience, except this fish is in a gorgeous pool setting amongst some super beautiful people.  Queens Plaza Boulevard isn't exactly the first place I would think of when the words "heavenly oasis" are paired together, yet after I went to their opening I can comfortably say that this place should definitely be on your radar before the summer ends.

Long Island City is poised to become what's next for Manhattanites to gravitate to, as it is a short stop via the F/N/Q and R trains from the city and already has some stellar locations within it (Take Oro for instance).  Profundo Pool Club is yet another example of what is making this part of NYC bustling and popping right now and will continue to do so in the near future.

Here's the layout.  You head up two floors inside The Rovel Hotel and paradise truly awaits as you go through the doors.  Dozens of plush beds adorn the grassy area on one side, with a beautiful and stunning pool to your left with gorgeous people coming in and out of it.

The beds are Bali-inspired daybeds and cabanas where guests can relax and unwind after a long day or come on the weekend with friends to liven things up a bit.  The layout reminded me of an outdoor version of that episode of "Sex And The City" where all the girls go to that club called "Bed" before they start smoking pot and everything gets worse as the evening goes on.

For pool usage, you can purchase a day pass which you can use from 12PM to 9PM accordingly.  This includes a complimentary towel and Profundo Pool Bag.  Oh, and you get an option to enjoy a cool dip in the miserable weather we have been getting lately, without the option of heading outside NYC to experience such a thing.

They also presented us with a ton of delicious food, from sliders to Tuna Poke to sushi and more.  All of this is created by Executive Chef Seth Levine.  More on this scrumptious menu here: profundopoolclub.com, new page 1.

What is truly not to love about this experience?  After having a first hand look at what to expect from Profundo Pool Club, I can safely say that this will be a huge RSVP checklist spot you will want to cross off ASAP.
