November is also commonly known as "Movember" for men, which is a movement for men to discuss and tackle our health issues on a global scale such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.  This coming Wednesday, there will be a big celebration to raise funds and awareness for this cause, and it's all happening right here in the heart of Manhattan.

On Wednesday, November 1, Refinery Rooftop is hosting their Second Annual Movember Ball meatball competition to raise funds and awareness for The Movember Foundation.

The Movember Ball brings together chefs from some of New York's finest dining establishments to compete for the title of "Best Balls in the City." Chefs from Trademark Taste + Grind, Boulton & Watt, Louie and Chan, and more will compete in a friendly competition to decide whose meatballs are truly the best.

The winner will be decided by guests votes and a panel of esteemed foodie judges: Competitive Eater Crazy Legs Conti, Gothamist Food Editor Nell Casey, Gotham Burger Social Club Founder Mike Puma, and The Skinny Pig Founder Dara Pollack.

Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased online. Each ticket includes a raffle ticket, and all the meatballs you can imagine! There will be a DJ to help you dance off some of the meatballs throughout the night. Refinery Rooftop is located at 63 West 38th Street and the event will be on Wednesday, November 1 from 6-9pm.
