We are about halfway done with November, which can only mean that the holidays are shortly upon us and friends and family will be coming from all over the country to spend time with their loved ones here in Manhattan.  If you can't host them at your place, then finding a great hotel nearby can sometimes be your only option.  If there is one hotel worth having them (or yourself) check into this holiday season, it's the Dream Midtown.  Here's why.

The Dream Midtown is more than just your run of the mill hotels you can stay at here in Manhattan.  It's multi-purpose goes beyond the turn down service, where everything you could possibly want in The Big Apple can be found right on its premises.  I had the chance to stay there earlier this week, and suffice to say I was thrilled with everything the hotel provided me and then some.

What's even better is that both the Dream Midtown and Downtown locations are offering fabulous Thanksgiving packages that will make your stay that much better.  Take a look at what their midtown location has in stores for you the minute you check in.

According to their official website, their mission is To provide a richer, bolder and more vibrant travel experience than what you're used to. That is pretty accurate based on my stay.  The great thing about this hotel is location, location, location.  You are steps away from some of the biggest landmarks in NYC, including Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center and of course... Times Square.  No need for cabs in this situation if you are looking to stay local while still experiencing the best that Manhattan truly has to offer.

The variety of rooms all have their individual amenities, in particular their types of suites.  If you are looking to have the crowd over with some drinks and dish before heading out for a night on the town, then their Gold or Platinum Suites will do the trick!  The living room (yes, living room) has a sprawling and insanely comfortable couch to chill on while you can watch the latest that television has to offer and a get a great view of what is going on outside.  Also, the beds are incredibly comfortable and it will make getting out of them tough.  Good luck with that.

Sure, that view is amazing.  But why not go a little further and take the elevator all the way to the top to experience PHD Terrace.  Expansive sky views, great drink selection, and a great atmosphere and ambiance that beats several other experiences like this. You also have The Rickey for all the classic cocktail folks out there, and Fishbowl for the bowling fanatics.  What's to lose here, seriously?

They also have a fantastic Thanksgiving package worth checking into!  Food, a parade, some warmth, and more.  Sign us up!
