Who wouldn't mind finding love even in the coldest of weather? Ski Souls, a Brooklyn-based travel company, has partnered with The League, an invite-only mobile dating app for ambitious, career-focused individuals, in order to help their guests find potential love while having a blast on the slopes.
Ski Souls organizes luxury ski and snowboard trips for single and solo travelers. The travel company provides week-long adventures that include luxury hotel accommodations, ski passes, mountain tours, group activities, and of course a lot of skiing or snowboarding for all abilities. Travelers make new friends on the mountain, at group lunches and dinners, and have fun at aprés ski.
Ski Souls is gearing up for their next trip this weekend. A group of Generation X'ers and Baby Boomers a headed to Whistler for the perfect anti-Spring Break escape from March 4th-10th. The company's last trip was to the ski slopes of Telluride, Colorado. Following that they're headed to Vail for a week-long excursion at the end of March geared to Millennials.
The company's motto is Solo. But not Alone, with co-founders Bruce Berkman and Gundula Brattke curating adventurers meant for singles looking for adventure and maybe something more in the love department. The two personally met last year through a dating app and spent their first date talking about how hard it was to find people to ski with. So it was, a new couple and SKI SOULS, were born.
Gundula's goal was to create a "summer camp for adults but in winter." As for Bruce, after decades of working long hours on Wall Street he decided to turn his favorite pastime activity into a business. His research obsession doesn't leave anything to chance and guarantees smooth travel experiences with each trip.
The League, is getting on the action and partnered with Ski Souls to host a League singles ski trip to Vail this month. "Dating apps and travel agencies are finding more in common than one would think," Meredith Davis, Head of Communications at The League says. "The future of our industry is this merger between offline and online worlds. The League's Ski Week in Vail will be from March 24th – March 30th.
