The West Village has always been a super fun place to walk around in, no matter what time of year it is. Whether you are hitting up an iconic gay bar or taking a walk in one of their beautiful and lush parks, chances are you will find something there that will strike your fancy. One of those aspects happens to be food, of course, and Kut is one of those places that is worth the walk in for a delicious feast of kebab and so much more.

Kut, located right off the W. 4th street stop (available within multiple subway lines) joins a ton of other locations who are taking fast-casual to a whole other level. Something that has been on the rise in Manhattan over the past couple of years are these places that go beyond the typical burrito-soup-pizza options (nothing wrong with that) and give you elevated dishes that give you the best bang for your buck. Kut happens to be one of them.

The space is sort of designed to be a grab-and-go kind of ordeal, although there is seating right when you walk in. The staff who work at Kut are incredibly amicable and are there to help you navigate what kind of option you want to scarf down on.

It’s basically two different options that work in many different ways: sandwich or bowl. And the ingredients that go in them are bursting with flavor, divine, yummy… the adjectives go on and on about how good the food is at Kut.

I opted for a Chicken Kebab Sandwich with all the fixings inside of it: caramelized onions (AMAZING), feta, hummus and vegetables with a lemon squeeze. As Aja would say on RuPaul’s Drag Race, “You’re perfect, you’re beautiful” … which it was! So much tasty flavor in every bite that I had, and it cured my hunger without filling me up too much. If you are looking for the next best thing in the world of fast-casual, then Kut is definitely a spot to check out.
