John Rivera, otherwise known as The NY Barber, has revitalized an industry long known for doing the exact same thing over and over again for years by developing New York City's first ever mobile men's grooming salon!

The idea of being fresh and innovative is pretty common in the Manhattan area as there is always someone trying to do something out of the ordinary compared to what else is out there. Master Barber John is doing exactly that by giving residents and visitors of The Big Apple an amazing haircut all located in his chic and sophisticated 24-foot box truck that comes with a ton of fun things to gawk at while he does his thing.

Once you go inside his place of business you will find that it is incredibly decorated with a Koken Barber Chair from the 1920s, full marble-topped barber's station with sink, white-washed panel walls and dark hardwood floors. John, a Long Island native, is superbly professional and gets the job done while engaging with his customers to make them feel at ease. That isn't too surprising given the longevity he's had in the business so far: 16 years.

The NY Barber mobile grooming salon travels the city to accommodate John's loyal customers while attracting walk-in customers (the truck's location is posted daily on @thenybarber Instagram account). He is also available for special events and bridal services, offering Groom and Groomsman's packages.

John uses high-quality, custom-made products, and his mobile services include: Gentleman's Cut ($60), Beard Trim with Shave ($65), Executive Shave ($65), The Executive plus Facial ($85), Perimeter Clean Up or Mustache Trim ($20), Gentleman's Cut plus Scalp Treatment ($80), Gentleman's Cut plus Executive Shave ($125), The Signature Package of Gentleman's Cut with scalp therapy, executive shave and facial ($165).  As a New York State licensed barber, John follows all sanitary and health laws.

If you are looking for a place to make you feel clean, suave and sexy this holiday season and beyond then The NY Barber is your answer. More information on John and his business can be found here.
