The American Dream Mall, located in East Rutherford, NJ, is expected to be a destination for all things entertainment and not just a shopping hub. So it would make so much sense on why North America's first indoor ski/snowboarding park called Big Snow would find a home there. That means year-round snow-filled adventure!
Big Snow is a very unique excursion for those with all levels of skiing/snowboarding experience. The people who are pros and have their own equipment are welcomed to enjoy the slopes for a few hours.
For those of us who have no snow sports experience at all this is the ideal place for you to come and practice. There is something about being in an indoor atmosphere that takes the edge off of having to be perfect at it. Oh, and no worries if you don't have gear, they provide everything you need!
After deciding which activity you'll be partaking in for the next two hours, it is time to get fitted in your gear. At this point things get real. Don't fret, the people who work there are very knowledgeable and happy to help get those bulky boots on.
After getting a proper tutorial on how to operate your ski's or snowboard on the practice hills, it is GO TIME!
The park is broken down in parts and depending on your level of experience and confidence will determine where you'll excel in.
The longer you are on your skis the more comfortable you will feel and before you know it you'll be skiing down Northern Lights or Switchback -Big Snow's advanced trials.
