Boune Notizie! After weeks of pre-packaged frozen dinners that taste like cardboard and epic kitchen failures which have set off smoke alarms, Upper West siders can breathe a collective sigh of relief. Café Fiorello has returned.
Shelly Fireman, the legendary restauranteur and owner of popular spots like Bond 45, Brooklyn Diner, Redeye Grill, and Trattoria Dell’Arte reopened the beloved Italian fixture yesterday. Nestled directly across from Lincoln Center at Broadway and 63rd street, Café Fiorello is available for pick-up and delivery. It marks the first restaurant within The Fireman Group that has reopened since the pandemic shutdown.
Under executive chef Brando d’Oliviera, signature pizzas, along with pastas, chicken and veal parmigiana and fresh selections from their famed Anipasto bar can be brought or delivered to the comfort of your home. Classic cocktails and wine by the bottle are also available.
Got a sweet tooth? Café Fiorello has a cure: “make your own cannoli” option with ice cream (sold by the pint).
Beginning June 8th, Fireman will open the Fiorello Italian Market, featuring house made sauces and dressings by the bottle, homemade pastas with cooking instructions, and a selection of breads from artisan Eli Zabar.
