Al Fresco dining used to be simply an option for Manhattanites to choose during the warm summer months. Now, thanks to COVID, it's all we got for the time being. Luckily these three amazing restaurants are going out of their way to give you an incredible outdoor experience that you will soon not forget.

Adoro Lei: 287 Hudson Street

Adoro Lei is already located in one of the most picturesque parts of New York City. They have enhanced its beautiful location with a fabulous outdoor setup that includes intimate lighting, perfect for a romantic dinner for two and more. The Italian cuisine should be award-winning given just how darn tasty it is. Standout items include their Citrus Pear Salad, Margherita Pizza and Lovers' Purses Pasta (Pear, Brown Butter Sage Sauce, Roasted Walnuts, Arugula and Parmigiano) which has been my all-time favorite pasta dish I've ever tried in NYC. More info here.

5 Napkin Burger: 630 9th Avenue

5 Napkin Burger is located steps away from Times Square and the theatre district and is widely considered to be one of the best burger places in New York City. They have put out fabulous outdoor seating for you to enjoy with your mountains of delicious cuisine that include mouthwatering wings, custom made burgers and shakes that will be the best conclusion you will ever have for your meal. More info here.

Ragtrader: 70 W. 36th Street

Ragtrader is a place that is doing something truly special for their customers outside of the typical Al Fresco dining experience. Their fantastic pianist, Skip Brevis, will be bringing his musical stylings every Tuesday to Saturday which will include him (and hopeful the guests) belting out hits from yesteryear all the way to today. You'll get to enjoy this while chowing down on yummy food like their Cauliflower Steak and Artichoke & Olive Pizza amid a gorgeous surrounding. So fun! More info here.
