Yet tomorrow, Sunday May 14th, STK Steakhouse will feature afternoon tea with dainty delights sure to make mom smile. It begins with a glass of prosecco, brut, or Veuve Cliquot Rose. Once the palate is sated, choose from a tower of delights that include finger sandwiches (cucumber and cream, pickled shrimp, smoked salmon with lemon zest cream), crab and egg salad tartlets, and prosciutto & tapenade crostini.
Following that, Mom can feel like British royalty with a sampling of scones: White chocolate and raspberry or Brown sugar and cinnamon—complete with a slather of cream or strawberry jam.
To satisfy a sweet tooth, finish it off with mini cake bites, macaroons, madeleines, or, for the waistline watchers, fresh strawberries.
Feel like getting lit on a Sunday afternoon with your favorite matron? No problem! STK has created some specialty cocktails for the special occasion. But if the lady of the day prefers tea to getting tipsy, a variety of hot teas are also available.
