Post picture editing is about 5 minutes older than the art of photography itself. We have gone from painting in color by hand to the endless complexity of Photoshop and Lightroom. Most of the editing I do for my own photos is done through apps on my phone. I rely on post-shot editing in order to express how I truly saw the scene or subject I was photographing.

However, this is not to say that I have always been reliant on post-production for my photos. Most of my early work had no editing whatsoever. I considered my camera the only tool I needed and that if I couldn't express myself through that alone, then the shot wasn't worth it.

Every so often over the next few months I would like to share with you some of the unedited shots I have taken of NYC over my career and show you exactly how the city is.
