This Friday marks the inauguration of our newest President, and given the circumstances many of us feel about the days to come, is the perfect excuse to go out and have a drink (or more). Luckily for all of our readers, we have found four awesome places that plan on making your day much better with their delicious drinks and tasty food so you can leave with at least the memory of having a good time and not what will be plastered on your television screens.

Village Pourhouse (64 3rd Avenue) and SideBAR (118 E. 15th Street) will pay homage to the Inauguration's cheesy lineup with some cheesy specials of their own since Friday, January 20th also happens to be National Cheese Lovers Day. Both bars will be offer a free Bud Light Draft with any cheesy purchase ranging from a cheeseburger or nachos, to mac n' cheese or a grilled cheese sandwich.

Keep Calm & Drink More Beer....
e's BAR (511 Amsterdam) will celebrate Inauguration Day with a burger and beer special for $10 all day long. If you find yourself bored by the festivities on TV, there are over 100 board games to choose from to keep yourself entertained and bring everyone together. Drink & Give Back...
Bagatelle (1 Little West 12th Street) is one of over a dozen restaurants in the Meatpacking District giving $1 from every specialty Sangria Rose sold in January to the ACLU. There couldn't be a better day to support that cause than on Inauguration Day. Late entry! Mundo in Long Island City
Located inside the Paper Factory Hotel, the LIC eatery will be serving up “Get Trumped” well shots offering one shot for $4.50 for our 45th President. Additionally, Mundo will offer the “America is Great” $15 beer and burger combo, which features The Factory Burger with tomato, onion, cilantro, feta cheese and harissa aioli paired with any domestic or international beer on the menu. It’s the perfect place to celebrate or commiserate with friends as Trump takes office.
