The Grabby's are coming, yay! The Grabby's are essentially the only thing the gay industry has left when it comes to an actual award show (I'm still pretty pissed about The Hookies, and the GayVN's, but I'll continue). This award show celebrates the best tops, bottoms, twinks, "manly man", actors, supporting actors, and the coveted "Performer of the Year". The nominees come from all around the world, with plenty of them coming from right here in New York City. So who do we think will win coming Grabby night? Here is who our selections are for some of the awards. This post is kind of NSFW, BTW.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is the award for "Best Muscle" or "Best Muscle Bear". Sure. I've had the pleasure of interviewing several of the nominees, from Rocco Steele, Colby Keller, Colby Jansen, Dirk Caber and most recently Nick Capra. So this one is a toughie for me. If I were to choose out of this entire group, I would have to go with Colby Jansen as he embodies the "Manly Man" type to a tee in his scenes and also with his persona on social media. I would be thrilled if Rocco, Colby K, Dirk or Nick one though. #notnoshade. #callme.

They might give it to Tommy Defendi, as this would be his "Swan Song" type of award given his retirement. All of these guys do a fantastic job but I really think XL is an incredible performer and would be a great guy to win this.

Ok, can we keep it real here? Some of these guys are NOT NEW. Not going into specifics, but this is weird. It is like McDonald's winning "Best New Fast Food Joint". But, whatevs. This is a very twink-heavy (what a juxtaposition of words) category, as I think Alex Mecum is the favorite. I would go with Skippy Baxter for a personal favorite. Yum.

I think the clear winner here is Rocco Steele, and there is zero bias here. It is very hard to break from the pack when it comes to being a gay adult star now, especially when that term is used WAY too loosely. I don't think there has been this much of a buzz around one person in a very long time, and his scenes speak for itself. Two years ago, he was brand new with barely any following. Now, he has over `100K followers on Twitter, and his presence is ever growing. No brainer in my opinion.
